The Herbarium Project

The Herbarium Project is a six-month in-depth study for the budding herbalist spanning over 40 hours of in-person instruction and self-study. This is a hybrid course - with classes that meet in person and online via zoom. 

Students will be led through the creation of their own Herbarium (a collection of preserved plant specimens, and associated data, used for scientific studies.) Each month we will choose two plants from our local environment and study them extensively, including preserving botanical specimens experiencing the therapeutic properties of each plant in various forms. Each student will complete the course with their own Materia Medica, Certificate of Completion, and plentiful class notes. and
