Spring Herbal Applications Intensive

This fun herb class has been presented as a series in the past, but is now being offered as a single-day intensive with both lecture portions and hands-on learning for optimal integration of knowledge! 

We will explore various types of herbal applications, such as tinctures, poultices, decoctions, infusions, pastilles and salves. This is a strong foundation for using herbs therapeutically - the main objective of the course is to empower the student with basic skills necessary to craft their own herbal formulas. 

Each student goes home with a mini-collection of herbal remedies, valued at over $100, which we will make in class, including: elderberry syrup, an herbal poultice, a solar-infused herbal oil, a rich herbal salve, and a tincture. This day of learning will include an herb walk in nature, so please wear comfortable clothing, and anything else you need to be comfortable for about an hour or two outdoors.…
